Who You Are:

PSI is seeking to hire a SeniorTransportation Engineer with knowledge and experience in roadway and traffic design. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience performing traffic engineering related tasks, and a STEM degree. This position allows for exposure to multiple disciplines within transportation engineering, including both design and analysis work and seeing projects' development from the concept to final design.

Responsibilities:

  • Production of transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages. Projects may include geometric design, temporary traffic control, traffic signals, utilities, signing, pavement marking, roadways, and lighting networks.
  • Perform quality control reviews of design documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project objectives
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers while providing technical leadership and oversight on project QA/QC procedures
  • Learn and use readily available resources, standards, and reference materials to provide the best quality design deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or other related STEM fields
  • 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience within transportation/traffic/roadway
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability and desire to operate professionally in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • P.E License
  • Experience using OpenRoads, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and/or Synchro
  • M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
