Overview:
<\/span>We are seeking a skilled and motivated <\/span>Senior Transportation Engineer <\/span>to join a team of professionals committed
to delivering smart, data -driven transportation solutions. This role involves working closely with local and regional
agencies to lead and support a variety of traffic engineering and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects.<\/span><\/p>
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who is passionate about improving mobility, safety, and

<\/p>
Lead or support a wide range of projects including traffic signal operations, signal timing, and ITS design,
implementation, and integration.<\/span>

Collaborate directly with internal senior management and agency clients to ensure successful project delivery.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Participate in local and regional business development initiatives to support growth.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Foster strong client relationships and promote strategic thinking to ensure high client retention.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Mentor junior staff and contribute to training and professional development efforts.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Assist in defining client needs and develop tailored proposals and delivery plans.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Support coordination meetings and consult regularly with engineering and planning colleagues.<\/span>

Qualifications:<\/span>
<\/p>
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
A PE (Professional Engineer), PTOE (Professional Traffic Operations Engineer), or IMSA certification is<\/span>
<\/p>
preferred.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering or a related field.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Minimum of 3 years managing projects and mentoring junior staff for public agency clients.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Proficiency in tools such as <\/span>Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, AutoCAD<\/span>, or <\/span>MicroStation<\/span>.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Strong MS Office skills.<\/span>
