Responsibilities
Serve as the technical task lead and/or project manager on multi-disciplinary bus transit projects
Coordinate technical work and stakeholder engagement
Develop project strategies and approaches
Perform research and analysis and participate in making recommendations to clients
Develop specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
Technical report and other deliverables preparation
Mentoring and guiding junior-level staff on technical methods
Participation in business development activities and assistance with proposals Track project deliverable progress and coordinate completion across teams
Coordinate and communicate with internal and external project team members
Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Confidence in public speaking before laypersons, stakeholders, and teaming partners
Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
Team-oriented with strong capability to motivate others
Must demonstrate an ability in collaborative problem-solving with stakeholders, clients, and teammates
Thorough understanding of technical transit and transportation planning analysis methods
Superior technical skills, producing consistent high-quality work products
Must be a highly motivated self-starter
Proficient in MS Office
Proficient with ArcGIS
Qualifications
11-15+ years' experience in multimodal transportation and transit planning
Experience in project management with a track record of organizing and training junior-level staff on project components
Experience conducting multimodal analysis, preparing reports, and developing transit service plans or concept designs
Bachelor's or Master's degree in transportation, planning, or related field
Experience coordinating with public agency staff, private consultants, stakeholder outreach teams, and professionals in other disciplines for successful project completion
