    SUMMARY

This role focuses on creating efficient, production-ready thermal solutions for complex electronics by leading the full lifecycle from requirements definition and system design to simulation, validation, and testing. It involves applying heat transfer principles, using CAD and CFD tools to design and optimize solutions, and ensuring compliance with product, safety, and EMI constraints. The position also requires presenting findings to stakeholders and supporting verification testing while resolving issues between simulation results and real-world performance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establish thermal requirements and drive the end-to-end system-level thermal architecture, design, and validation process. Leverage CFD simulation tools to evaluate, optimize, and validate thermal solutions that ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance.
    • Combine use of analytical and CFD tools efficiently to reduce development time for thermal solutions.
    • Develop detailed assembly models in Creo or SolidWorks, incorporating safety and EMI-related design features and constraints to generate high-fidelity thermal models for CFD analysis, optimization, and validation.
    • Present thermal simulation/validation findings/solutions to engineering teams and management.
    • Assist in thermal verification testing and resolve any issues resulting from simulation results and lab testing.
    • Apply heat transfer principles to develop advanced/innovative thermal technologies for both natural and forced cooling applications.
