    Join Our Team as a Senior Quality Assurance Expert

As a Senior Quality Assurance Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technology systems and services meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Work with us to support the Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Department of Human Services in delivering essential services to the community.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, execute, and validate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet business requirements.
    • Collaborate with agile and traditional delivery teams to improve testing processes and outcomes.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
    • Conduct regression, integration, load, performance, security, and accessibility testing.
    • Lead bug hunts and exploratory testing to identify and resolve defects.
    • Provide guidance and support to business SMEs/testers during testing cycles.
    • Develop and maintain testing best practices, training materials, and documentation.
    • Report test metrics and status updates to stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Strong understanding of UAT processes, SDLC, and agile methodologies.
    • Proficient in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
    • Understanding of accessibility standards, security testing fundamentals, and performance considerations.
    • Demonstrated experience leading QA/UAT activities for complex projects.

    Preferences

    • Experience in a government or regulated environment.
    • Familiarity with test automation concepts (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
    • Background in business analysis or broader QA experience beyond UAT.
