Primary Purpose: Ensures the reliable, efficient, and professional operation of technology resources within the District's Central Administration facilities, with particular emphasis on technology supporting executive leadership, administrative operations, meetings, presentations, and Board of Trustees activities. Provides hands-on technical support for district-supported hardware, software, audio-visual systems, conferencing platforms, presentation systems, and peripheral equipment. Maintains a high level of technology readiness within Central Administration and provides responsive technical assistance to administrators and staff. Serves as the primary on-site technology support resource for the District Board Room and provides technical support for Board of Trustees meetings, workshops, and other designated district meetings and events. Ensures Board Room technology is tested, operational, and appropriately configured before meetings and remains available throughout meetings to address technical issues. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or a related field preferred. Five years of technology support experience in a K-12 school district or similar large organization required. Experience supporting administrative or executive environments, audio-visual systems, conferencing technology, and presentation systems preferred. Experience supporting multiple operating systems, software applications, and technology platforms required. Valid Texas driver's license and satisfactory driving record required for district travel.
Special Knowledge/Skills: Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripheral equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge of audio-visual, presentation, video conferencing, microphone, display, projection, and meeting- room technology.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently in high-visibility and time-sensitive environments.
Ability to provide professional, discreet, and responsive technical support to executive leadership, Board members, district administrators, employees, and guests.
Ability to prioritize competing technical needs and respond effectively to urgent operational issues. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.

Major Responsibilities and Duties: Provides advanced technical support and operational oversight of technology resources within Central Administration and other district administrative facilities.
Maintains the operational readiness and availability of district-supported technology resources within Central Administration, including computers, monitors, docking stations, printers, peripherals, telephones, presentation equipment, conference-room technology, and audio-visual systems.
Provides timely troubleshooting, repair, replacement, configuration, and escalation of technology issues in accordance with Technology Services standards and established support procedures.
Provides a high level of responsive technical support to the Superintendent's Office, senior leadership, Board Services, and other administrative departments where technology interruptions may affect critical district operations.
Regularly inspects and tests technology within conference rooms, meeting spaces, executive areas, and other high-use administrative locations to identify and resolve problems before they disrupt district operations.
Serves as the primary Technology Services support resource for the District Board Room and maintains operational knowledge of all Board Room technology systems and equipment.
Conducts pre-meeting technology readiness checks for Board of Trustees meetings, workshops, and other designated meetings, including testing displays, presentation systems, microphones, audio systems, video systems, conferencing equipment, computers, network connectivity, and other technology required for the meeting.
Coordinates with Board Services, Communications, executive leadership, and other appropriate district personnel before meetings to identify technology requirements and ensure systems are configured and operational.
Remains on-site and available during Board of Trustees meetings and designated Board workshops to monitor technology operations, troubleshoot technical problems, and provide immediate assistance when required.
Supports presentations, video conferencing, screen sharing, audio, microphones, displays, and other technology used during Board meetings and other high-profile district meetings.

. Agency-Internal Establishes and follows documented Board Room technology readiness procedures, including pre-meeting testing, equipment verification, issue escalation, and post-meeting review when technical issues occur.
Provides technical support for executive meetings, district leadership meetings, training sessions, public meetings, and special events held within Central Administration when assigned.
Coordinates with Network and Infrastructure, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Audio-Visual, and other Technology Services personnel when an issue requires specialized expertise or escalation.
Troubleshoots wired and wireless connectivity issues and appropriately escalates network or infrastructure problems in accordance with district procedures.
Installs, configures, maintains, and supports district-approved hardware, software, peripherals, and applications within the assigned administrative environment in accordance with Technology Services standards.
Assists with the deployment or replacement of equipment within Central Administration when directed by Technology Services.
Maintains accurate records of assigned technology assets and assists with inventory verification, equipment transfers, and asset accountability in accordance with district procedures.
Ensures technology incidents, service requests, equipment issues, and work performed are documented through the district's approved ticketing system.
Monitors assigned tickets and workload to ensure issues affecting Central Administration operations are addressed within established service expectations and appropriately escalated when necessary.
Identifies recurring technology problems, operational risks, or equipment reliability concerns within Central Administration and communicates those concerns to Technology Services leadership for corrective action or long-term planning.
Supports technology changes, upgrades, maintenance activities, and system implementations affecting Central Administration and communicates relevant impacts to administrative users.
Provides end-user guidance and technical training on district-supported technology resources when needed to improve effective use and reduce recurring support issues.
Maintains current technical knowledge through district-provided training, professional development, vendor training, and other appropriate learning opportunities.
Adheres to district cybersecurity, data privacy, acceptable-use, technology acquisition, software licensing, inventory, and information-security requirements.
Maintains professional conduct and appropriate confidentiality when supporting Board members, executive leadership, confidential meetings, executive offices, and other sensitive district operations. Killeen ISD

Work Schedule The position follows the work calendar established by the District. Regular evening work is required to provide technology support for Board of Trustees meetings, Board workshops, and other designated district meetings or events. Occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required based on district operational needs. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
