Job Description

  • Provide advanced technical support for one or more project teams simultaneously.
  • Apply a broad range of analytical and technical tools within a primary technical discipline (Mechanical, QA, V&V, etc.).
  • Support Risk Reduction Testing (RRT) and Verification & Validation (V&V) testing activities.
  • Utilize technical knowledge in a secondary discipline to enhance cross-functional collaboration and project outcomes.
  • Proactively seek assignments and identify opportunities to expand responsibilities.
  • Lead selected technical activities and testing initiatives as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems using advanced analytical skills.
  • Conduct and support Instron testing activities.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize daily activities effectively.
  • Develop innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Provide guidance, training, mentoring, and coaching to designers and technicians.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, vendors, suppliers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Participate in recruiting and team selection activities as needed.
  • Support testing efforts from concept through V&V and beyond.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years of design/drafting experience (Preferred).
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Risk Reduction Testing (RRT).
  • Experience with Verification & Validation (V&V) testing.
  • Knowledge and application of analytical and technical tools.
  • Instron testing experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Leadership, mentoring, and coaching capabilities.
  • Creative problem-solving and solution development.
  • Knowledge of testing protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical problems within a technical discipline.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize workload.
  • Experience developing creative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, technicians, vendors, and suppliers.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required).
  • Associate's Degree or completion of a 2-year trade or military school program (Preferred).

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screenings and criminal background checks
  • Start Time: 08:00 AM

 

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Estimated Salary: $29.44 to $37.44 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
