Job Description: Senior Tax Manager | Hollywood, FL | Partnership Opportunity Within 4 Years You've probably heard the words "Partnership potential" before. Maybe you've even been promised it, only to find that nobody's actually going anywhere anytime soon. Well, one of the Partners at this established CPA firm in Hollywood is planning to retire within the next 4 years, and they're looking for someone who could eventually take their place. The good news? You don't need to bring a book of business with you. The clients are already there, the firm is doing well and there's a genuine reason for bringing someone in now. You'll work closely with the existing Partners, gradually taking over client relationships and getting involved in the decisions that shape the firm. It's a smaller, close knit team where you're trusted to get on with your job, without layers of management or someone constantly looking over your shoulder. So, what are they looking for? An experienced Senior Tax Manager who's technically strong, comfortable managing clients and enjoys helping more junior staff develop. Ideally, you'll have experience across: CPA or EA preferred Individual, corporate, partnership and trust returns, including 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065 and 1041 Varied client industry expereince including some real estate. M&A transactions, including purchase price allocations, Form 8594 and S Corporation transactions Section 1202, QSBS and international tax matters, including GILTI There's competitive compensation, good benefits and flexibility, even flexibilty to be 90% remote later down the line...but the real attraction is having a clear route towards Partnership without needing to build an entire client base from scratch.
