Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Tax Manager in Bradenton, FL. This is a full-time, permanent role that is hybrid, 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
Overview:
The client is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead corporate tax operations, oversee compliance, and manage a team of two tax accountants. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will play a key role in managing tax reporting, coordinating external service providers, and ensuring accurate, timely completion of tax-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee corporate tax operations, reporting, and compliance activities
- Manage and mentor two tax accountants, providing leadership and guidance
- Coordinate with external tax providers responsible for tax return preparation and regulatory reporting
- Review tax calculations, financial documentation, and compliance deliverables for accuracy
- Manage tax-related projects, deadlines, and communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, reporting efficiency, and internal controls
- Partner with the CFO on tax planning, compliance matters, and departmental priorities
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of corporate tax experience
- Strong understanding of corporate tax compliance and reporting
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and project management skills
- Experience managing external tax vendors and multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- CPA certification
- Previous experience in the insurance industry
- Experience supervising tax professionals
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
