We are partnering with a world-class investment banking organization to identify an experienced Senior Corporate Tax Consultant who can immediately contribute to income tax provision, compliance, and reporting initiatives within a sophisticated corporate tax function.

The consultant will play a key role supporting quarterly and annual tax reporting while assisting with ongoing compliance and special projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review ASC 740 income tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations.
Prepare and review federal and multi-state C-Corporation income tax returns.
Support quarterly and annual tax reporting, financial close, and compliance deadlines.
Reconcile tax accounts and prepare supporting workpapers.
Research technical tax issues and assist with audit requests.
Partner with internal teams and external advisors on tax-related projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
5+ years of corporate income tax experience.
Strong experience with ASC 740 tax provision and C-Corporation tax compliance.
Experience in preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns.
Public accounting and/or large corporate tax department experience preferred.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with OneSource, CorpTax, or similar tax software is a plus.
