A growing San Diego boutique CPA firm is adding a
Senior Tax Associate to support its expanding tax practice. You will work directly with experienced tax leaders, take ownership of meaningful client work, and build toward a future Manager role.
What Youll Do
- Prepare and perform first-level review of partnership, S-corporation, and individual tax returns
- Generate Schedule K-1s and assist with partner basis and capital account tracking
- Support depreciation schedules, fixed-asset roll-forwards, and cost-segregation work
- Research tax issues and draft clear technical memos
- Communicate directly with clients to request information, resolve questions, and explain variances
- Review work prepared by junior staff and help develop less-experienced team members
What Theyre Looking For
- 35 years of public-accounting tax experience
- Strong hands-on experience with partnership returns and Schedule K-1s
- CPA or actively working toward the CPA
- Exposure to real estate, construction, closely held businesses, or high-net-worth clients
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a growing firm where you can help improve processes
