This role is responsible for supporting federal and state income tax compliance, reviewing tax filings, preparing tax provisions, and assisting with tax research and planning initiatives. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant

• Prepare and compile information necessary for federal and state income tax returns.

• Review tax returns prepared by external service providers and ensure accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications of the Senior Tax Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 
  
• Minimum of 3 years of tax experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• 
  
• Ability to analyze complex information, conduct tax research, and interpret regulations.
• 
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and tax software applications.
