We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic and high-performing team. This is a permanent position that will play a critical role in managing and driving the success of our tax operations. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing company and to enhance your skills in the Accounting and Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing complex tax returns, researching tax laws, and providing tax planning services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Handle state and local tax compliance and advisory services.
• Analyze tax regulations and recommend strategies that minimize tax liability.
• Provide clients with 1040 and 1065 tax experience.
• Keep track of industry trends and changes in tax law, and communicate those findings to the team.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
• Interact with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise.
• Maintain and cultivate client relationships to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax role with a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
• CPA or EA license is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in state and local tax, 1040 and 1065 tax.
• Solid understanding and experience with federal and state tax compliance, tax planning, tax analysis, and tax research.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously.
