Senior/Tax Accountant

Job Title: Accountant- Tacoma-Hybrid
Location: Tacoma, WA
Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000DOE

Our client, a well-established family company is seeking an experienced Accountant with Public Accounting experience(Tax preferred) to work closely with the President and CFO. This position offers great variety and work-life balance!

Overview of the Accountant Role:

• 
  
• Preparation of monthly financial statements
• 
  
• Preparation of annual tax workpapers
• 
  
• Preparation of monthly ad-hoc owner requested reports
• 
  
• Assist with weekly accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing
• 
  
• Assist team members with various projects as necessary
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant:

• 
  
• BS in Accounting; 2+ years of experience in public accounting is required; CPA is preferred
• 
  
• 3+ years of progressive experience
• 
  
• Experience with tax accounting
• 
  
• GAAP knowledge
• 
  
• Experience with both cash and accrual based accounting
• 
  
• Experience with Excel and Quickbooks
• 
  
• Experienced with handling confidentiality
• 
  
• Great Communicator
•
