Senior Tax Accountant - Small Public Firm

Small, popular public accounting / business management firm located near Beverly Hills is looking for a Sr. Tax Accountant. In this position, the Senior Tax Accountant will handle small business tax filings, 1120s, 1040s, etc. The Senior Tax Accountant will also prepare quarterly tax returns, file year-end taxes, as well as review balance sheet and financial statements for accuracy. The Senior Tax Accountant will also conduct bank and credit card reconciliation, assist clients with bookkeeping - A/P, journal entries, assisting with financial statement adjustments, etc.

• Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 1-2+ years of accounting and tax experience.
• Must have experience preparing 1120s, 1040s, and payroll tax filings.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Lacerte is required.
• Ability to prioritize and hit deadlines while working autonomously is essential.
• Positive, upbeat attitude with a good work ethic is needed.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

• $80 - 90k.
