Successful public accounting / business management firm located near West Los Angeles is looking for a Sr. Tax Accountant. In this position, the Senior Tax Accountant will handle small business tax filings, 1120s, 1040s, etc. The Senior Tax Accountant will also prepare quarterly tax returns, file year-end taxes, as well as review balance sheet and financial statements for accuracy. The Senior Tax Accountant will also conduct bank and credit card reconciliation, assist clients with bookkeeping - A/P, journal entries, assisting with financial statement adjustments, etc.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
3+ years of accounting and tax experience.
Handling filings for real estate and entertainment clients is a plus.
Master's in Taxation or CPA is ideal but not required.
Must have experience preparing 1120, 1040, 1065, and other tax filings.
Knowledge of QuickBooks, CCH is extremely preferred.
Ability to prioritize and hit deadlines while working autonomously is essential.
Positive, upbeat attitude with a good work ethic is needed.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
$120 - 150k.
