Job Details

SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT

A fast-growing Northeast Ohio public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to prepare and review tax work while continuing to build technical expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This is a strong fit for someone a few years into public accounting who's looking for varied client work, mentorship, and a firm that genuinely invests in its people.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver tax and accounting assignments with a high standard of quality
  • Prepare and perform detailed review of individual and business tax returns
  • Conduct tax research and provide effective, practical solutions
  • Keep management and staff informed on relevant tax legislation developments
  • Assist in preparing technical memos and other client deliverables
  • Deliver timely, high-quality service that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Anticipate and help resolve client concerns as they arise
  • Support the development of junior team members through mentoring and training
  • Stay current on industry publications and share relevant insights with clients
  • Pursue ongoing professional development

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • CPA in progress or preferred
  • 3+ years of recent experience in public accounting
  • Strong team and project management skills
