Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to support a high volume state income tax filing season engagement. This contract opportunity will play a key role in preparing state income tax returns and ensuring accurate tax compliance across multiple entities.

You will work closely with the tax team to prepare returns, maintain supporting documentation, and assist with filing season activities. This role is ideal for a tax professional who is comfortable working in OneSource and can quickly contribute in a fast moving compliance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare state income tax returns using OneSource
• Support state income tax compliance and filing activities
• Complete workpapers and supporting tax schedules
• Review and import tax data from OneSource into Excel workpapers
• Assist with preparation of unitary and separate state tax returns
• Maintain accurate documentation for tax filings
• Ensure timely completion of assigned compliance deliverables

Key Requirements

• 4+ years of corporate state income tax experience
• Experience preparing state income tax returns
• Hands on experience with OneSource tax software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of corporate tax compliance processes
• Ability to manage a high volume workload during filing season
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
