    Location: Addison, TX (Hybrid or On-site)

    A fast-growing and client-focused public accounting firm is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join its tax team. This role is perfect for a motivated professional who enjoys working on complex tax engagements, collaborating with clients, and mentoring junior staff. The firm serves a mix of individuals, businesses, trusts, and partnerships.


    Key Responsibilities


    ·      Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, and trusts

    ·      Conduct in-depth tax research and provide technical guidance on complex tax matters

    ·      Collaborate directly with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and provide tax planning strategies

    ·      Mentor and review work of junior tax staff and interns

    ·      Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and industry trends

    ·      Support clients with IRS and state tax notices and represent them as needed

    ·      Work within cloud-based tax and accounting platforms to manage workflow efficiently


    Qualifications


    ·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA license preferred or in progress)

    ·      3–5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax

    ·      Strong understanding of federal and Texas state tax laws

    ·      Proficiency with tax software (e.g., UltraTax, Lacerte, ProConnect) and QuickBooks

    ·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    ·      Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and in a team setting
