Overview

We're seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in our Phoenix office! The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner plays an integral role in executing the organization’s recruitment strategy. This role participates in all aspects of talent acquisition, ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains top talent aligned with business objectives. Candidates for this position have a strong track record collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, developing job descriptions and utilizing various methods to attract top talent. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is expected to champion employer branding for prospective candidates and ensure a seamless, positive journey from initial contact through onboarding.  

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies. 
  • Proactively utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage candidates, ensuring a diverse pool of talent. 
  • Track and optimize key performance metrics to enhance recruitment processes. 
  • Foster a strong candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. 
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior talent acquisition teammates. 
  • Leverage data and market insights to shape hiring decisions and drive strategic impact.   
  • Follow SOPs that support fair, equitable, and consistent hiring practices. 
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice. 
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements related to hiring and employment practices. 
  • Act as a mentor more junior members of the talent acquisition team. 

 

Education & Experience: 

  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; equivalent experience considered. 
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment law, and HR technologies. 
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Compensation 

 

Base Compensation: $80,000-$115,000 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skills and/or location) 

 

SMC offers a competitive benefits package, with a 36-hour standard work week, hybrid working arrangement, 13 paid holidays, 100% coverage of medical, health, and dental insurance premiums for our full-time employees, and reimbursement of professional licensing costs. Spouse and family insurance premiums are subsidized by SMC. All full-time employees are additionally eligible for employer-sponsored life and long-term disability insurance as well as participation in our 401(k) plan, with annual safe harbor contribution.
