Senior Systems Engineer

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Exchange, SCCM/MECM, and Citrix. We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support and maintain a large enterprise infrastructure environment.

Salary is 145k to 155k + bonus

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support and maintain a large enterprise infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Exchange, SCCM/MECM, and Citrix.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, domains, trusts, and replication.
• Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, virtual networking, and storage.
• Support Microsoft Exchange and enterprise mail environments.
• Administer SCCM/MECM for software deployment, patching, operating system deployment, and endpoint management.
• Support and troubleshoot Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform server builds, upgrades, patching, hardening, and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide escalation-level support.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Work closely with networking, security, application, and service desk teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in change, incident, and problem management processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise systems engineering or infrastructure experience.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere/ESXi experience.
• Experience with Exchange, SCCM/MECM, and Citrix.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience supporting large, highly available enterprise environments.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Microsoft, VMware, or Citrix certifications.
• Experience with Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Veeam.
