Job Overview As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will serve as a key technical resource responsible for evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining information systems that support business and customer requirements. You will work closely with users, developers, managers, and stakeholders to identify needs, analyze alternatives, and develop solutions that improve operational performance, efficiency, and effectiveness. This role offers the opportunity to lead requirements development efforts, support modernization initiatives, and play a critical role in delivering technology solutions that drive organizational success. What Youll Do

Analyze complex business, operational, and technical requirements to develop effective information system solutions

Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and system design activities

Evaluate existing systems, workflows, and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement

Develop functional requirements, system specifications, process flows, and technical documentation

Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and impact assessments for proposed initiatives

Design and recommend system solutions that support business objectives and operational requirements

Coordinate with users, developers, system administrators, and technical teams throughout the system development lifecycle

Analyze and resolve complex system issues and recommend corrective actions

Support system integration, testing, implementation, deployment, and maintenance activities

Evaluate the impact of proposed system changes on related processes, applications, and data structures

Facilitate communication among stakeholders and help resolve requirements conflicts

Develop reports, presentations, recommendations, and technical documentation for customers and leadership

Provide guidance and support to users regarding system functionality, procedures, and best practices

Support process improvement, data management, system modernization, and digital transformation initiatives

What You Bring Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

Seven (7) years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, information systems, software development support, or a related technical field

Advanced knowledge of systems analysis, systems design, and business process improvement methodologies

Knowledge of information systems, software development lifecycles, and data management principles

Knowledge of requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and process modeling techniques

Ability to analyze complex business and technical challenges and develop practical solutions

Ability to evaluate alternative approaches and recommend process and system improvements

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Strong project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and projects

Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if required

Preferred Experience

Masters degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline

Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs

Experience leading systems analysis and requirements development efforts

Experience supporting enterprise information systems and complex business processes

Experience conducting feasibility studies and business process improvement initiatives

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

Experience supporting system modernization and digital transformation programs
