Senior System Administrator (O365) Employment Type: Onsite/Remote
Annexa is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator (O365). This role is responsible for the administration and maintenance of various tools in the Microsoft O365 Suite.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of various tools in the Microsoft O365 Suite.
- Work with both engineering and service desk teams to assist with troubleshooting and updating settings based on customer requirements.
- Work with O365 team to develop best practices for governance and settings for various tools in the enterprise.
- Provide recommendations for optimization and assist with implementation of any improvements identified
- Configure device quarantine and mandatory enrollment policy for new O365 device activation.
- Assist with tracking, monitoring and troubleshooting performance levels and capacity.
- Serve as primary point for escalations for all aforementioned responsibilities.
- Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted.
Required Skills:
- 6 years in the job offered or related systems administration role
- Three years experience in each of the following:
- Exchange on-prem and Exchange online, including completion of multiple migrations from on-prem mailboxes to Exchange-online
- AAD connect to sync on-prem accounts to Azure AD
- Systems administration and management of Exchange Online with Office 365, Powershell V3 or V4 including scripting, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
- Implementing and administering SharePoint online and on-prem
- Configuring third party applications hosted as SAS and appliances with web interface to authenticate against AD and Azure AD
- Implementing Virtual Machines, Storage, Virtual Switches, VLANs and subnets, load balancers, firewall filtering, DNS, and Content Delivery networks in Azure and AWS
- Apple configurator and/or Apple School Manager
- Experience with mobility platforms Airwatch, BES, or GOOD
- Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or closely related field.
