A bit about us:

We're a family-owned manufacturer of consumer chemical products and the market leader in our category. Our in-house R&D team keeps our products ahead of the industry, and the family brought in a professional, non-family executive team to lead the next stage of growth. Job Details

Job Summary
The Senior Supply Planner owns and drives supply planning decisions across internal manufacturing and multiple contract manufacturing partners in a dynamic, constrained supply chain. Our finished goods pull components from many suppliers across hundreds of SKUs, so this role turns demand into executable supply plans, sets safety stock and replenishment strategy, spots risk early and drives mitigation so customer demand, inventory and operational capability stay aligned. It's central to building planning capability, strengthening decision-making, and supporting IBP maturity and the move of manufacturing in-house. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that calls for strong scenario planning, prioritization and decision-making under uncertainty.

What You'll Do
  • Own production planning and supply decisions for complex, high-impact product lines, including multiple contract manufacturing sites
  • Turn demand signals into realistic, executable plans aligned with business priorities and constraints
  • Set safety stock levels and replenishment strategy, and define inventory targets and positioning
  • Spot supply risks (materials, capacity, inventory) early and define mitigation before customers feel it
  • Lead recovery planning for critical supply gaps and constraints
  • Drive scenario planning and weigh trade-offs (service, cost, inventory, capacity) to support business decisions
  • Prioritize production and allocation when supply is constrained, balancing competing business needs
  • Connect raw material and component availability to finished goods risk and anticipate upstream and downstream impacts
  • Challenge system outputs and improve planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, order policies)
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Production, Sourcing, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, Regulatory and Marketing
  • Give leadership clear supply risk visibility and decision-ready recommendations
  • Contribute supply scenarios and risks to IBP
  • Support new product development, packaging changes and the transition of manufacturing in-house
  • Improve planning discipline, data quality and system use, and raise the team's planning capability

What You Bring
  • 7-10+ years of supply or production planning in complex, dynamic manufacturing environments
  • Experience planning across multiple contract manufacturing sites and multi-level BOMs
  • Hands-on ownership of safety stock and replenishment strategy
  • Manufacturing background with multi-component finished goods (chemical, plastics or CPG preferred)
  • Deep understanding of APS, MRP, ATP and constrained planning
  • Strong ERP experience (Infor SyteLine, SAP, Oracle or similar) and strong with systems
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills; Power BI preferred
  • Proven ability to make decisions with incomplete data in high-variability environments
  • End-to-end supply chain thinking, from raw materials to customer impact
  • Strong business awareness, cross-functional influence and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field preferred
