    Overview:

    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale construction projects across commercial, healthcare, data center, and industrial sectors. This role is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in alignment with design specifications and quality standards.

    The Senior Superintendent serves as the highest-level field leader, coordinating subcontractors, managing daily site operations, and ensuring successful project delivery from groundbreaking to final turnover.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Field Leadership & Site Management
    • Lead all on-site construction activities and field operations
    • Direct and coordinate subcontractors, foremen, and field crews
    • Ensure daily construction activities align with project schedule and milestones
    • Conduct daily site walks, inspections, and progress tracking
    • Resolve on-site issues, conflicts, and productivity challenges

    Schedule Execution & Productivity Control

    • Execute and enforce project schedules in coordination with Project Managers
    • Monitor critical path activities and adjust field sequencing as needed
    • Ensure manpower, equipment, and materials are efficiently utilized
    • Identify and mitigate schedule delays or productivity risks
    • Coordinate trade sequencing to avoid conflicts and rework

    Safety & Compliance (OSHA / Site Safety Leadership)

    • Enforce strict jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance
    • Conduct daily safety meetings (toolbox talks) and site safety inspections
    • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions immediately
    • Ensure all subcontractors follow safety protocols and PPE requirements
    • Promote a strong safety-first culture across all site personnel

    Quality Control & Construction Standards

    • Ensure all work meets project specifications, drawings, and codes
    • Conduct quality inspections and coordinate corrective actions for deficiencies
    • Work closely with QA/QC teams and project engineers
    • Verify installation accuracy across all trades (MEP, structural, architectural)
    • Ensure proper documentation of inspections and quality checks

    Coordination & Communication

    • Serve as primary field contact between office team and jobsite
    • Coordinate daily with Project Managers, Engineers, and Subcontractors
    • Lead weekly progress meetings and site coordination meetings
    • Communicate project status, risks, and field issues to leadership
    • Ensure clear coordination between trades to prevent conflicts or delays

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain daily reports, logs, and field documentation
    • Track labor productivity, material usage, and site progress
    • Document RFIs, change conditions, and field modifications
    • Support project closeout and punch list resolution
    • Ensure accurate as-built documentation is maintained

    Requirements:

    • 7–15+ years of construction field supervision experience
    • Strong background in commercial, healthcare, industrial, or data center construction
    • Proven experience managing large, complex, multi-trade job sites
    • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
    • Deep knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and site safety practices
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and field crews

    Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

    • Experience in mission-critical environments (data centers, hospitals, clean rooms)
    • Experience with design-build or CM-at-risk delivery models
    • Proficiency with construction software (Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam)
    • LEED or sustainable construction experience
    • Prior experience as Superintendent on multi-million or mega-projects
    • Strong trade-specific expertise (MEP, structural, interiors, or civil)

    • Project Manager / Senior Project Manager / Project Executive / Construction Manager

    Employment Type & Work Setup:

    • Full-time
    • Onsite (Construction Job Sites – required daily presence)
    • Early mornings, extended hours, and occasional weekend work depending on project phase
    • Field-based leadership role with high responsibility

    Work Environment & Conditions:

    • Active construction sites (commercial buildings, hospitals, industrial plants, data centers)
    • Exposure to outdoor conditions, heavy equipment, and active construction zones
    • High-responsibility, fast-paced field environment
