Job Description: Job Title: Senior Summit Developer Location: Reston, VA (Onsite) Employment Type: Full Time Key Responsibilities • Description: This role needs a Senior Summit Developer to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of trading platforms for our Treasury portfolio. • This role will focus on ensuring the stability, scalability, and compliance of our trading systems, while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions. Candidate will need proficiency in C++, SQL, Unix, Financial domain, scripting (Unix, Python) etc. • Candidate needs to have solid oral and documentation skills as day-to-day role involves strong collaboration with Product, technology and technology shared services teams. Responsibilities Support the implementation, configuration, customization, and maintenance of the Summit trading platform for Treasury applications. Develop, enhance, and maintain application components using C++ and other relevant technologies. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to support application functionality, data processing, and reporting requirements. Work in Unix/Linux environments to perform application support, troubleshooting, scripting, and system maintenance. Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts and Python scripts to automate operational tasks and improve system efficiency. Investigate and resolve application defects, production incidents, performance issues, and system integration challenges. Monitor and maintain the stability, scalability, availability, and reliability of trading systems. Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, technology teams, shared services, and external vendors to understand requirements and implement solutions. Support system enhancements, release activities, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support. Ensure that application changes and operational processes comply with applicable internal controls, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, application support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and implementation documents. Participate in technical discussions, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage multiple priorities and deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality and timely execution.
