Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager

A well-established structural engineering firm in the Naperville area is hiring a Senior Engineer / Project Manager. An upcoming retirement makes this a priority hire. The firm has been in business for nearly 40 years, has doubled in size in the last four, and plans to keep expanding, so leadership roles are opening up soon.

What you'll do:

- Lead structural building design projects from concept through construction

- Own client relationships and make technical decisions with real autonomy

- Manage project teams, schedules, and budgets

- Mentor staff engineers as the firm grows

What you bring:

- A BS in Civil or Structural Engineering (an MS is a plus)

- 8+ years of structural building design experience

- An SE license, which is strongly preferred, or active progress toward one
