Job Title: Senior Structural Designer Location: Downtown Houston Office Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (in person) JOB SUMMARY: Novetus Engineering LLC is looking to fill a position as Senior Structural Designer. RESPONSIBILITES: - Develop structural designs and support the detailed 3D models for modular components of a large‑scale LNG facility, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate structural requirements into the overall module layout using advanced 3D modeling software.
- Review, update, and maintain model accuracy throughout the design lifecycle, resolving clashes and ensuring constructability within modular fabrication constraints.
- Prepare and deliver structural drawings, material takeoffs, and design documentation derived from the 3D model to support procurement, fabrication, and construction activities.
- Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and support continuous improvement of modeling workflows, standards, and coordination processes across the project.
REQUIREMENTS: - 10+ years of experience in Structural Design
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
OPTIONAL: - Associates or bachelor's degree in AutoCAD background
- S3D modeling software familiarity
COMPENSATION: - Hourly pay is to be determined
