Title: Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager
Location: Englewood, CO or Littleton, CO
Duration: 3 months
Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Review historical spending and purchases to develop new category strategies
* Identify process improvement opportunities in sourcing & supplier interactions
* Build and execute negotiation strategies & develop award recommendations
* Evaluate current suppliers & advise stakeholders on new and existing contracts
* Own sourcing events end to end; develop, manage & document requirements process
* Develop negotiation strategies and lead supplier negotiations
* Draft contract language and work with business units to define requirements
* Identify, analyze, & mitigate contractual risk
* Provide support in vendor relationship management, escalation, & dispute resolution
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college
* 8-10 years of relevant management experience in the area of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and business analysis
Skills:
* Demonstrated results and value realization from sourcing activities
* Procurement and/or Supply Chain related professional certification preferred
* Results-oriented mentality with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and quality
