Job Summary

Overview & Mandate

The Senior Strategic Execution Lead is a senior individual contributor within the Partner & Ecosystem Business Operations organization. This role drives high-priority strategic projects, confidential workstreams, and urgent escalations with strong structure, executive discipline, and cross-functional coordination. The role translates leadership priorities into clear project plans, decision-ready materials, risk mitigation actions, and measurable execution outcomes.

Strategic Scope and Operating Model

Operating across partner leadership, field teams, corporate strategy, finance, legal, HR, communications, operations, and other sensitive stakeholder groups, this individual contributor creates the execution structure required to move complex initiatives from intent to completion. The role builds plans, manages dependencies, coordinates decision points, supports escalation operating rooms, protects confidentiality, and ensures leadership has the information needed to intervene, delegate, or decide quickly.

Partner-Led Growth Accountability

Success in this role depends on disciplined execution, sound judgment, executive-quality communication, and the ability to drive progress through influence rather than direct authority. The Strategic Execution Lead is accountable for ensuring strategic milestones are delivered on time, risks are identified early, decisions are documented clearly, and unresolved blockers are escalated through the appropriate governance path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive high-priority strategic projects, confidential initiatives, and urgent escalations from planning through execution and closeout.
  • Build structured project plans with clear outcomes, milestones, owners, dependencies, decision points, risks, and executive inspection moments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across partner, field, finance, legal, HR, communications, operations, strategy, and other stakeholder teams.
  • Create executive-ready briefs, decision memos, issue narratives, escalation summaries, and status updates that clarify options, implications, and recommended actions.
  • Manage dependency maps, issue logs, action plans, and follow-up trackers to ensure commitments are visible, owners are clear, and work remains on schedule.
  • Support escalation operating rooms by organizing daily action plans, severity assessments, decision needs, communications inputs, and closure criteria.
  • Protect confidentiality and apply strong judgment when managing sensitive executive, organizational, partner, or cross-functional workstreams.
  • Identify risks early, recommend intervention plans, and escalate blockers before they become missed commitments.
  • Partner with the Head of CPE Business Operations, Business Manager, PMO Lead, and Communications Manager to keep strategic execution aligned to the broader operating system.
  • Capture lessons learned after escalations and strategic projects, converting insights into reusable practices that improve future execution.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic execution, business operations, program management, corporate strategy, partner operations, executive operations, or related enterprise roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives through influence in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Strong project planning discipline, including milestone management, dependency tracking, risk management, decision documentation, and executive status reporting.
  • Experience managing confidential or executive-sensitive work with sound judgment, discretion, and appropriate access controls.
  • Ability to create clear, concise executive materials that frame issues, options, risks, tradeoffs, recommendations, and next actions.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect strategic priorities to practical operating plans, governance forums, and measurable outcomes.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, resolving blockers, aligning stakeholders, and driving work forward without relying on formal reporting authority.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline preferred.
  • Advanced degree, program management certification, or equivalent enterprise execution experience preferred.

Additional Information

  • Extensive collaboration across leadership, field teams, corporate strategy, finance, legal, HR, communications, operations, and executive business management stakeholders required.
  • Travel requirements will vary by business need, executive engagement priorities, escalation support, and strategic project requirements.

Success Measures

  • On-time delivery of strategic milestones and executive-sensitive commitments
  • Reduced escalation cycle time and faster resolution of urgent blockers
  • Clear decision documentation, issue framing, and executive-ready status reporting
  • Stronger cross-functional accountability through visible owners, actions, dependencies, and deadlines
  • Controlled handling of confidential workstreams and executive-sensitive information
  • Reusable lessons learned and improved execution practices across future strategic projects and escalations
