About the role This position is responsible for developing, servicing, and strengthening Leviton Network Solutions' relationship with, and revenue generated from complex strategic end users. The role manages existing high-value accounts while identifying and securing new major account and data center customers. Through strategic account planning, executive relationship development, and cross-functional coordination, the Senior Strategic Account Manager delivers customer value while positioning Leviton as a trusted long-term business partner. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans that drive profitable growth, customer retention, and increased account penetration. Manage and expand relationships with existing strategic end-user and data center customers. Identify, qualify, and pursue new strategic-account opportunities through targeted prospecting, relationship development, and consultative selling. Build relationships with executive, operational, technical, procurement, and supply-chain stakeholders within assigned accounts. Coordinate domestic and global sales resources to support customers operating across multiple locations and geographies. Align internal teams, distributors, contractors, and other channel partners around defined customer objectives and account strategies. Qualifications Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholders Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Negotiation - Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes Able to exercise sound judgment in analyzing and recommending solutions Critical Thinking - Ability to think critically and make informed decisions to optimize performance Understanding Fortune 500 customer expectations for their supply chain and knowledge of how to pull together internal and external resources to exceed expectations Strategic Thinker - Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions to support the organizations goals Relationship Builder - Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with key stakeholders Education & Experience Education Bachelor's degree in engineering, Marketing or Business Administration preferred, but not required RCDD preferred Experience Minimum 10 years' experience in structured cabling sales Minimum 5 years' experience in Major Account / Global selling and management Deep understanding of data center cabling architecture, as well as successful experience selling into a major data center environment Experience and knowledge with copper and fiber optic communications infrastructure Travel Travel up to 60% of the time What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical (with an HSA option), Dental, Vision and Rx coverage beginning the 1st day of the month following your start date 401(k) Program with employer matching contributions. In 1906, Isidor Leviton founded a small tinsmithing business in New York City. He began by manufacturing gas mantle tips and selling them on a push cart on the busy streets of Manhattan. In 1910, Leviton partnered with Thomas Edison to design the pull-chain lampholders for his electric lamps.
