Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with purchasing decisions
- Help customers troubleshoot problems with their pets
- Assist customers with product returns and help resolve customer issues
- Stock and merchandise incoming products
- Assist with animal care for store animals and adoption program animals
- Performing daily store cleaning procedures
- Assist Store Associates in the performance of their duties
- Operate cash register and check out customers
- Prepare customer orders for delivery when necessary
- Perform store opening and closing procedures including cash counts and checklist items
Qualifications
- 2 years retail experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Must be able to work independently and be well organized
- Computer literate with good basic math skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
