Description of the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our team at Lucky's Trailer Sales / Dimmick Group Peterbilt. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. This position requires experience with CDK accounting software and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
Responsibilities: - Manage the general ledger and prepare accurate financial statements
- Reconcile accounts and ensure financial accuracy and integrity
- Prepare and analyze financial reports on a regular basis
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using CDK accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
