I'm working with a growing, fast-paced organization looking for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Location: Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM  SW Houston

What You'll Be Doing:

• 
  Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  
• 
  Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  
• 
  Prepare financial statements and analyze variances.
  
• 
  Handle fixed assets, depreciation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  
• 
  Assist with audits, sales tax filings, and GAAP compliance.
  
• 
  Identify process improvements and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
  

What We're Looking For:

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• 
  5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  
• 
  Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills.
  
• 
  Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel.
  
• 
  Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing deadlines.
