Our client is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their close-knit, high-performing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who wants to work in a collaborative environment, gain exposure to leadership and ownership, and make a meaningful impact within a growing organization.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports and support the preparation of financial statements
- Analyze financial data and investigate account variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other accounting projects as needed
- Support process improvements and help strengthen accounting procedures and controls
- Work closely with the Controller, Assistant Controller, and other members of the accounting team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Several years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- CPA or progress toward a CPA is a plus, but not required
