The Senior Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the financial integrity and reporting of Team Quality Services’ multi-entity and multinational operations. This position is responsible for advanced accounting activities including general ledger management, financial consolidations, intercompany transactions, foreign currency accounting, and financial reporting. The Senior Staff Accountant will support monthly and annual close processes, assist with financial statement preparation and audits, and help improve accounting processes and internal controls. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working across multiple entities and currencies, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: General Ledger Management Prepare, review, and post journal entries for multiple entities in various currencies. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts. Consolidation & Intercompany Perform global consolidations for monthly and quarterly financial statements. Reconcile and eliminate intercompany balances and transactions. Coordinate with local teams to ensure accuracy of intercompany activity. Financial Reporting Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules. Assist with management reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and participate in adoption of IFRS/local accounting standards as needed. Foreign Currency & Tax Manage foreign currency transactions, revaluations, and translation adjustments. Collaborate with tax advisors for cross-border tax matters and compliance. Process Improvement & Controls Recommend and implement process improvements in accounting, reporting, and internal controls. Assist with ERP system upgrades, automation, and workflow enhancements. Audit & Compliance Support annual external financial reviews, working with accountants across jurisdictions. Prepare documentation for statutory audits and regulatory filings as required.
