Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior SQL Developer with strong technical and analytical skills. Experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance is preferred. This role involves system analysis, development, and collaboration with business users, analysts, and QE teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The position also includes mentoring and guiding junior developers. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement solutions as a senior developer.
Act as the single point of contact for development and support of existing applications.
Maintain and enhance current software applications.
Manage and support SQL database environments for production, testing, and development.
Analyze technical information to assess risk, impact, and mitigation strategies.
Create and maintain technical documentation for users and training.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and release new features.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies.
Work closely with business leads and product owners to understand requirements.
Guide and mentor development and support teams.
Perform configuration changes as needed.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of both legacy and modern Policy Admin platforms.
Experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance, preferably specialty insurance.
8+ years of hands-on SQL, VBScript, and JavaScript experience.
Experience with ETL, SSIS packages, and workflow/automation tools.
