Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior SPSS Consultant (Remote).
Summary:
We are seeking a remote experienced Senior SPSS Consultant to support a client engagement focused on assessing, planning, and executing a potential upgrade of their SPSS environment. The consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, evaluating the current deployment, identifying upgrade considerations, and developing recommendations for migration to the latest Company SPSS Modeler and Collaboration & Deployment Services (C&DS) releases. This engagement will begin with a comprehensive assessment phase and may extend into implementation and migration activities based on client approval and project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a detailed assessment of the client's existing Company SPSS environment
- Review current Company SPSS Modeler (v18.3) and Company SPSS Collaboration & Deployment Services (C&DS) (v8.3) deployments
- Evaluate infrastructure, application architecture, database connectivity, integrations, and system dependencies
- Identify risks, constraints, and upgrade considerations that could impact implementation
- Develop upgrade and migration recommendations aligned to current Company SPSS best practices
- Create upgrade and migration roadmaps for moving to the latest supported SPSS releases
- Define target-state architecture and deployment strategies
- Develop implementation plans, effort estimates, timelines, and resource requirements
- Recommend approaches for minimizing business disruption during migration activities
- Lead SPSS upgrade and migration activities, including installation, configuration, and deployment
- Validate compatibility across infrastructure, databases, integrations, and dependent applications
- Execute migration testing and support user acceptance testing activities
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience working with Company SPSS solutions
- Hands-on expertise with: Company SPSS Modeler; Company SPSS Collaboration & Deployment Services (C&DS)
- Proven experience performing SPSS upgrades and migrations in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of: Infrastructure architecture; Database connectivity; System integrations; Application deployment architectures
- Experience conducting upgrade assessments, planning, implementation, and testing activities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Company Analytics or related certifications are a plus
- Experience upgrading legacy SPSS environments to current supported releases
- Knowledge of enterprise application architecture and middleware integrations
- Experience developing technical recommendations, project estimates, and implementation roadmaps
- Familiarity with cloud and hybrid deployment environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
