Senior Specialist QA - I (Assistant)
Location: Durham, NC
Pay Rate: $31.41/hr
Duration: 1 Year

Job Description

Perform quality control and microbiological testing to support finished product release and manufacturing operations.
Conduct environmental monitoring, including active air, surface, and water sampling.
Perform sterility testing, residual moisture testing, and average cell dry weight testing.
Evaluate environmental microbiological samples and laboratory data.
Conduct in-process and release testing in accordance with established procedures.
Troubleshoot technical and operational issues and support process improvements.
Prepare laboratory reports and support quality-related projects and interdepartmental activities.
Work in accordance with GLP and cGMP requirements.

Education

Associate's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field with 1–2 years of relevant laboratory/pharmaceutical experience.
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field.
