The Senior Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer will support subsystem- and system-level integration and testing activities within the Systems Integration and Test Engineering organization. This role will develop and execute test plans, procedures, scripts, and documentation for First Article Qualification Tests and Factory Acceptance Tests.
The engineer will also support product verification and validation, prototype development, test equipment operation, qualification testing, software integration, troubleshooting, logistics planning, and personnel development. The role will collaborate with engineering disciplines, program management, quality assurance, and product leads to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test.
• Procure equipment required to support system builds.
• Create supporting documentation, including:
  • Drawing trees
  • Parts lists
  • Interconnect diagrams
• Execute test procedures for:
  • Components
  • Subassemblies
  • Assemblies
  • Complete systems
• Develop and complete test documentation, procedures, and manufacturing build documents.
• Conduct qualification and system-level testing.
• Operate, verify, maintain, and troubleshoot test sets and test equipment.
• Lead and conduct software integration and testing.
• Develop test plans, procedures, test scripts, and documentation for First Article Qualification Tests and Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Support product verification and validation activities.
• Support production and qualification testing in accordance with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 standards.
• Support prototype development of specialized hardware.
• Analyze and document test results, performance metrics, and system readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, quality assurance, and product leadership.
• Support logistics and transportation planning as required.
• Contribute to personnel training and development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 6 years of relevant experience, OR
• Graduate degree + 4 years of relevant experience, OR
• 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience with systems integration and testing.
• Experience setting up, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting hardware/software systems.
• Ability to develop and execute test procedures and documentation.
• Experience conducting qualification and system-level testing.
• Experience operating and maintaining test equipment.

Preferred / Additional Qualifications

• LabVIEW and/or Python development experience.
• Electronics testing background and understanding of test process flow and execution.
• MIL-STD-810 testing experience.
• First Article Qualification Testing experience.
• Experience with firewall, switch, and router configurations.
• Understanding of network architecture and subnetting.
• Experience with electronic test equipment such as:
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Spectrum analyzers
• Experience testing RF/SATCOM communication circuits.
• Ability to automate test procedures and data-analysis activities.
• Experience analyzing and recording test outcomes, including performance metrics and system-readiness reports.
• Knowledge of data-center infrastructure, including:
  • Power requirements
  • Rack build-out
  • Cooling
  • Lab security
• Experience testing communications and network equipment.
• Experience with software integration and test automation.
