We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for mechanical components and assemblies across Oura's hardware programs. This role requires strong cross-functional partnership with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Legal, as well as direct engagement with key mechanical suppliers. You will be accountable for building sourcing strategies that enable high-volume production readiness, supplier scalability, and cost/performance optimization-while supporting rapid development cycles and NPI execution.This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in our San Francisco office.What you will doLead mechanical sourcing for NPI and sustaining programs, including supplier selection, RFx execution, and award recommendations across key commodities (enclosures, stamped parts, CNC, injection molded parts, die cuts, soft goods)Drive end-to-end commercial negotiations, including pricing, tooling/NRE, payment terms, lead times, capacity commitments, and E&O/liabilityPartner with Engineering to align design requirements with supplier manufacturing capability, DFM feedback, and risk mitigationLead supplier onboarding including capability assessments, audits, qualification plans, and readiness reviewsEstablish and manage supplier performance through KPIs (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness) and structured business reviews (QBRs/MBRs)Build and maintain should-cost models for mechanical parts/assemblies and drive benchmarking to support negotiation strategyOwn mechanical supply continuity planning including dual sourcing strategy, geographic risk, capacity constraints, and contingency plansCollaborate with Ops/CM partners to ensure mechanical supply supports prototype builds, ramp readiness, and mass productionSupport execution activities such as PO placement for proto/MP, supplier schedule alignment, and issue resolution during buildsImprove sourcing processes by implementing scalable working practices, templates, and supplier governanceRequirementsWe would love to have you on our team if you have:7+ years of experience in consumer electronics and/or supply chain, including mechanical sourcing and supplier managementStrong experience sourcing mechanical components such as CNC, injection molding, stamping, MIM, and surface finishingDemonstrated ability to lead complex programs with competing priorities and tight timelinesProven negotiation skills across unit cost, tooling/NRE, contracts, and supply agreementsExperience supporting NPI builds (EVT/DVT/PVT or equivalent) through ramp and mass productionStrong analytical skills including cost modeling, data-driven supplier evaluation, and scenario planningStrong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functionallyComfort operating in ambiguity and driving structure across multiple work streamsAbility to travel ~25% domestically and internationallyBenefitsAt Oura, we care about you and your well-being.
