Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiating favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers, while preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of custom-engineered products.
• Acquiring and maintaining an understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends, and supplier technology road maps.
• Reviewing purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy, discussing defects and delivery problems with suppliers, and negotiating refunds.
• Leading project development and project plans that define scope, timeline, budget, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Conducting detailed supplier assessments to ensure alignment with company standards and strategic goals.
• Analyzing market data to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks in sourcing strategies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and refine sourcing plans and procurement methodologies.
• Monitoring supplier performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and strengthen supplier relationships.
• Implementing cost-saving initiatives by identifying efficiencies and negotiating better terms with vendors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Supply Chain, or related) is a plus.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
• Minimum 5 years in project management, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• At least 3 years of stakeholder management and supplier management experience.
• 2-4 years of advanced financial and cost modeling skills (Excel/other tools).
• Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, evaluative, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical device industry is preferred.
