Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Plano, TX. This is a 100% onsite role requiring a highly technical professional who can engage with customers throughout every phase of their cloud and data transformation journey. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, design scalable solution architectures, write production-quality code when needed, and guide customers in leveraging Snowflake and modern cloud technologies to achieve business objectives.
The successful candidate will work closely with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and senior executives to design and implement innovative, secure, and scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle to deliver successful technical solutions.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures using Snowflake and cloud-native technologies.
• Provide technical leadership by developing proof of concepts, writing code, and validating solution designs.
• Guide customers in architecture decisions, best practices, and implementation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable cloud data platforms.
• Design secure, high-performing, and cost-efficient data architectures.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and customer presentations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide architectural recommendations.
• Drive adoption of Snowflake best practices, performance optimization, and governance.
• Partner with customer executives and technical teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Snowflake certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience with Spark, Databricks, Kafka, or modern data engineering tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and container technologies.
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance.
• Previous customer-facing consulting or professional services experience.
