Summary
We’re hiring a Senior Software Test Engineer to help build and run automated test solutions for mission-critical software. You’ll work closely with developers and other engineers to improve product quality through smart test strategy, strong test execution, and clear documentation.
What you’ll do
- Create and execute test plans, test strategies, and test designs
- Build/maintain automated test frameworks and infrastructure
- Perform integration testing, manual testing, and formal qualification testing
- Review and write testing/engineering documentation (industry standards)
- Collaborate daily with software engineers; mentor junior test engineers
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS, Software Engineering, EE, Math, etc.)
- 12+ years relevant experience (or 9+ with MS)
- Experience testing complex software systems and delivering automated testing
- Ability to code/scripting in one or more: C#/.NET, C/C++, Java, Python, Ruby
- Strong communication skills (technical + cross-team)
Nice to have
- Automated UI testing experience
- Experience with standards like IEEE 12207, CMMI, MIL-STD-882E, DO-178C/DO-278, RMF
- CI/CD, containers, microservices
- Embedded systems testing experience
- MBSE/SysML, MATLAB/Simulink testing, mission planning/navigation systems knowledge
