Description

Senior Software Engineer, Mindlance Inc. (Union, NJ)
  1. Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering and contribute to resolving complex and multi-dimensional situations requiring a solidunderstanding of functional areas, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables.
  2. Maintain and support enterprise-level legacy applications built using ASP.NET, VB.NET, and the .NET framework within a cloud-enabled environment.
  3. Analyze existing application architecture and codebase to understand system functionality and implement effective enhancements and fixes.
  4. Design, develop, and implement small-scale enhancements and defect resolutions for web and backend applications using C#, .NET technologies, and established design patterns.
  5. Develop and modify user-facing components and server-side logic while ensuring compatibility with existing legacy systems.
  6. Design, develop, and optimize database components using Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
  7. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues, ensuring system stability and minimal business disruption.
  8. Provide production support and incident resolution, including root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
  9. Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps to enable automated build and deployment processes.
  10. Work with cloud-based platforms, including Microsoft Azure, to support application deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless application support and enhancement delivery.
  12. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance requirements.
  13. Develop and execute unit and integration tests using appropriate testing frameworks to ensure application reliability.
  14. Document technical designs, system workflows, and code changes to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.
  15. Operate independently as a senior/lead engineer, requiring minimal supervision, and rapidly adapt to existing application environments.
  16. Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles orunprecedented elements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study.
  • 5 years' experience in position offered or related position with similar duties.

Travel required to unanticipated client locations all over the United States

SALARY: $193,461/per year including benefits
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
