This is a hybrid position with an onsite requirement of 1-2 days per week. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance (approximately 50 miles) of either our Alpharetta, GA or Oakland, CA office to support onsite collaboration.
The Senior Software Engineer, Cloud EPM, is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud EPM solutions that enable financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and analytics. This highly skilled techno-functional professional possesses deep expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud, including EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, Cost Allocations, Strategic Modeling, and ERP integrations.
This role plays a critical part in implementing and maintaining enterprise EPM solutions, managing data extraction, loading and reconciliation processes, and developing financial reports. The individual will design, configure, and enhance Oracle Cloud EPM modules, including Planning (PBCS/EPBCS), Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS), Narrative Reporting, and Reporting & Analytics.
The ideal candidate will develop and maintain business rules, calculation scripts, Groovy scripts, and automation processes while designing dimensional models, metadata structures, hierarchies, and security frameworks aligned with Finance and Accounting requirements. This role will also build and support inbound and outbound integrations to ensure seamless data flow across systems using Data Management (DM/FDMEE concepts), REST APIs, EPM Automate, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and other middleware tools.
Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer will provide production support for Oracle Cloud EPM applications, troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues, lead upgrades and environment refresh activities, and design, develop, and maintain BI Publisher reports to support business reporting needs.

Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
