Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in Cloud Architectures and Public Cloud offerings to join our team in building a resilient, scalable, and secure cloud-based settlement platform. The role involves participating in requirements refinement sessions, contributing to architecture, design, and implementation, writing code and automated tests, and creating CI/CD pipelines while adhering to best practices in software development and DevOps. In our agile environment, you will collaborate with users, product owners, business analysts, and technologists across the firm. Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in requirements refinement sessions to ensure clarity and completeness.
- Write clean, performant, scalable, testable, and reusable code, and build automated tests.
- Mentor junior developers, guiding them to follow best software development practices.
- Implement DevOps practices, including creating CI/CD pipelines and enabling telemetry capture.
- Contribute to enhancing team standards and improving development processes.
Qualifications:- 7+ years of hands-on experience in building distributed event-based systems using agile practices.
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture, design patterns, system resiliency, scalability, security, and observability.
- Proficiency in core Java, Spring Boot, and other Spring framework features.
- Experience in designing and implementing high-volume messaging- and REST-based middleware.
- Expertise in defining scalable database models (relational or others).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based development principles.
- Fast learner with a desire to constantly learn and improve.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Skills:- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Experience with Angular.
- Familiarity with Kafka and MongoDB.
- Prior experience in FinTech application development.
- Experience working in a global delivery team.
