Job Title: Software Engineer 3 - Contingent (Senior Software Engineer - ETL, Ab Initio, PySpark, Python & Oracle Database)
Location: Charlotte, NC - CIC (1525 W W.T. Harris Blvd)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite required: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - Flexible)
Contract Length: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $53 - $57/hr (Hourly, OT40)

Job Summary
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives supporting enterprise data processing and ETL platforms. This role will focus on maintaining and enhancing existing ETL applications while driving modernization efforts, including migration of workloads from Ab Initio to PySpark-based solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess deep ETL expertise, strong Python and Oracle skills, and experience supporting enterprise-scale data integration environments while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and delivery quality.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Support, maintain, and enhance existing ETL applications and data integration workflows
Provide production support and troubleshoot incidents in enterprise data processing environments
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using:
Ab Initio
PySpark
Python
Oracle Database
Lead and support migration efforts from Ab Initio to PySpark
Develop and optimize data pipelines and data transformation processes
Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Utilize AI-assisted development tools for:
Code generation
Refactoring
Documentation
Testing
Migration acceleration
Participate in Agile ceremonies and software delivery processes
Support modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
