Senior Software Engineer - Labor Management Forecasting (Hybrid)

2+ years of experience with SQL, including experience with database design, query optimization, and the use of ORM frameworks (such as Dapper or Entity Framework) to develop efficient and scalable applications. Experience designing and supporting event-driven applications using Apache Kafka, including message production, consumption, and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience  
• 5+ years of experience leveraging .NET Framework (8, 9, or 10), in application design, development, and delivery in an enterprise environment  
• 2+ years of experience with SQL, including experience with database design, query optimization, and the use of ORM frameworks (such as Dapper or Entity Framework) to develop efficient and scalable applications
• 2+ years of experience developing modern frontend React.js frameworks integrated with backend APIs
• 2+ years of experience in driving a team’s work in an agile scrum environment
• Experience designing and supporting event-driven applications using Apache Kafka, including message production, consumption, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in reviewing and approving design of complex technical solutions working with architects and other company resources  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes (K3), Docker, or other containerization technologies such as OpenShift
• Experience planning, organizing, and managing projects and projects teams  
• Experience or desire to work in event-based/micro-service style architecture
• Experience with .NET 10
• Experience with Kafka Connect and Kafka Smart Router
