Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java/AWS) for their Plano, TX/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support scalable Java-based applications.
• Build and optimize REST APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

 
Requirements:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with 11 to 13 years of experience in enterprise application development.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, and AWS, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications.
• Mandatory AWS Certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Associate)
• 11+ years of IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java J2EE
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data
• RESTful APIs and Microservices
• Docker
• Git
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• AWS Cloud Services
• ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js
• Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Agile/Scrum development methodologies
